Software Engineer - Delphi

ABOUT OUR CLIENT

We are supporting a longstanding SaaS organization that is looking to backfill an upcoming retirement. You'll be working on the organization's flagship product within a team of highly skilled, long-tenured individuals.

Compensation: Up to $145,000 per year + 8% annual bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE DELPHI DEVELOPER

• Develop, maintain, and enhance features within on-premises Delphi applications using Delphi 13
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, ensuring timely and effective fixes for production issues
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews to maintain application quality standards
• Support application deployments and provide technical guidance to end users and support teams
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge base improvements for system maintenance and team knowledge sharing

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE DELPHI DEVELOPER

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with Delphi
• Demonstrated expertise in maintaining and enhancing on-premises Delphi applications in production environments
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
• Experience with database connectivity and SQL query optimization (Firebird, SQL Server, or similar)
• Proficiency in version control systems and familiarity with Windows application architecture
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
